Breathwork is my favourite modality for shifting stagnant energy and freeing stuck emotions because it is quick and effective.
I practiced and taught yoga breathing for 20+ years and it is a great tool to use in the moment when you feel overwhelmed and want to come back to neutral again. Your breath is one of the best tools you have for managing stress…and we ALL experience stress, even if our minds tell us we’re ok.
When I found The Pause Breathwork method, its potential for healing blew me away. Whereas most breathing practices focus on relaxation, the Pause method is for deep healing and transformation - releasing ourselves from the shackles of the past - old wounds, limiting beliefs, stuck emotions and traumas which prevent us from moving forward with joy and confidence. Relaxation is an after effect of the practice.
Pause Breathwork is a method where we use continual breathwork to break down emotions in the body which are stagnant and create havoc on our energetic systems. As a deeply embodied practice, it invites us back into the body as a source of wisdom and truth. It brings us back into the present moment - here and now, rather than the past of the future where the structured mind likes to be.
We are busier than ever and disconnected from our bodies causing us to become buried in feelings and emotions that we don’t know how to deal with or process…and so they accumulate to breaking point. For many of us, the norm is being constantly stressed, anxious, worried and overwhelmed…something we just live with. But you don’t have to.
Breathwork allows us to be still, be with ourselves and breathe through our experiences. For those who struggle to find stillness, who find meditation too hard, breathwork is our way in.
Pause Breathwork brings a trauma-informed lens to every session and every person, prioritising safety, so that you can step by step, explore whatever needs to arise, be seen and be released. Facilitators in this method are trained in deep observation, with the breather’s highest self and needs in mind, so that the breather can navigate and develop emotional intelligence and freedom.

2 Ways to Practice Pause Breathwork:
I facilitate breathwork sessions using zoom, which allows you to be in the privacy and comfort of your home environment and I find it to be just as powerful as an in-person session. Sessions can be either:
*** 1-1, bespoke sessions, tailor made to exactly what you need.
*** Monthly group sessions, anchored around a particular theme. Group sessions on zoom still provide a sense of privacy and safety with the added benefit of connecting with others through discussion (or simply listening to others) and they fit within most budgets.
You can book a single session or a block of 4. For a block of 4, simply book a single and if after the session you want to continue, you can simply settle the difference and book in your next sessions then. Alternatively, if you already know you want a block of 4, send me an email and we can get your sessions booked right away.
